Hawaii Snorkeling on Molokai
This small island near Maui offers some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii. On Molokai you can gaze at a rainbow of fish and coral along Hawaii's longest beaches and at the foot of the world's highest sea cliffs. While snorkeling in Hawaii is great year round at popular spots such as Hanauma Bay on Oahu and Kealakekua Bay on the Big Island, snorkeling on Molokai in most locations is not recommended from mid-September through April, due to extremely strong currents generated by storms in Alaska. However, one exception is Murphy Beach Park (also known as Kumimi Beach Park) on the East End, where conditions are generally calm year round.
